Purpose of Establishment
Key Initiatives
KAIST Alumni Association was established in September 1975, and since the graduation of its first class, it has now reached its 27th term. The purpose of the association is to foster friendship among alumni, contribute to the individual development of its members, and support the growth of the alma mater. To achieve these goals, the association has been carrying out various alumni-related activities to this day.

- Friendly Golf Tournament : Held annually every fall since 2012
- Homecoming by Graduation Year : For the 40th anniversary of the Master's degree graduation in 2015
Mentoring Concert
Business Direction
Establish a smooth human network between seniors and juniors through mentoring, providing practical support for KAIST students in their career choices and future planning.
Business Activities
Mentor-mentee sessions with free Q&A, addressing practical questions about career choices and building a human network between alumni and current students.

KAIST MenGel (Mentor & Angel) Club
Business Direction
Provide mentoring on entrepreneurship for both current students and alumni, build connections with potential investors, and offer opportunities for seniors to share their entrepreneurial experiences with juniors and fellow alumni.

Reviewing business potential based on technology introduction, providing investment, and offering entrepreneurial support mentoring.
Project Period
Held twice in 2016 (September, November), and twice in 2017 (May, November).
KAIST Alumni Technology Forum
Business Direction
Create joint meetings between KAIST alumni and students who hold technological expertise, as well as alumni venture capitalists, to share and exchange know-how and business opportunities related to their technologies.

Reviewing business potential based on technology introductions, providing investment opportunities, and offering entrepreneurial support information.

Alumni Academic Scholarship Foundation
Business Direction
Expand the Seoklim Academic Scholarship Foundation into the KAIST Alumni Academic Scholarship Foundation to support the alma mater and students by providing scholarships to younger generations.

Provide living expense scholarships to students.

Alumni Fund for Supporting Juniors
